Summer 2013 is over! Yep, you know what that means, right? New TV series/returning shows and movies to look forward to this Autumn from our favorite P&P actors! Continuing my annual list of some P&P '05 alumni with a new movie and TV series or mini-series starting this month through December of 2013 (as well as a few upcoming films to see in 2014!).

Downton Abbey (Season 4) - September 22, (UK) and Jan. 5 (USA) - Penelope Wilton (co-star) as Mrs. Isobel Crawley
As they face new challenges, the Crawley family and the servants who work for them remain inseparably interlinked. Throughout the great house new arrivals rattle the established hierarchies, and the lives of the inhabitants are as shaped by romance, ambition, desire, shocks and heartbreak as ever. The secure, serene and ordered world of Downton is rocked by passions below the surface and there are changes above and below stairs.

Homeland (Season 3) - Sept. 29 - Rupert Friend (recurring guest star) as agent Peter Quinn
HOMELAND tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Danes), a CIA officer battling her own demons, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of U.S. soldier, then Congressman, now fugitive, Nicholas Brody (Lewis) was a setup and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Season three opens during the aftermath of the horrific terror attack that decimated the U.S. intelligence apparatus, and prompted a global manhunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist, Nick Brody. As Carrie and Saul (Patinkin) begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody’s whereabouts. BBC AMERICA’s Victorian London crime series returns with stars Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg and Myanna Buring as Inspector Reid, Sergeant Drake, Captain Jackson and madam Long Susan. The new season moves the action forward to 1890. As the century enters its final decade, the streets teeter on the brink of moral collapse, and nowhere is the declining British Empire’s problems felt more keenly than in its dark heart: the East End of London. About Time - Nov. 1 (USA) limited and Nov. 8 (expansion) - (Tom Hollander co-stars)
About Time written and directed by Love Actually's Richard Curtis. The Universal /Working Title pic centers on a young man (Gleeson) who learns he can travel through time. But as he finds his true love (McAdams) and sets off on their life together, he discovers his gift has its complications too. Based on the 2009 investigative book by BBC correspondent Martin Sixsmith, The Lost Child of Philomena Lee, this film focuses on the efforts of Philomena Lee (Judi Dench), mother to a boy conceived out of wedlock — something Philomena’s Irish-Catholic community didn’t have the highest opinion of — and given away for adoption in the United States. Following church doctrine, she was forced to sign a contract that wouldn’t allow for any sort of inquiry into her son’s whereabouts. After starting a family years later in England and, for the most part, moving on with her life, Philomena meets Sixsmith (Steve Coogan), a BBC reporter with whom she decides to track down her long-lost son.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Nov. 22 (worldwide) (Donald Sutherland and Jena Malone co- star)
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Inside Llewyn Davis - Dec. 6 (limited) and Dec. 20 (expansion) (Carey Mulligan co-stars)
