I am a huge fan of the regular Maybelline Colour Tattoos, they're the only cream eyeshadow that actually last on my eyelids without creasing or fading.
So the release of a new shade & that being in a new 'Leather Effect' finish, well that's very exciting news to me.
So the release of a new shade & that being in a new 'Leather Effect' finish, well that's very exciting news to me.
There are five shades available in this range, all neutral & rather cool toned. I picked up the shade 'Vintage Plum' a taup/ lilac shade with a matte finish.
As with all Color Tattoos, it is creamy to the touch & easy to blend. I find this shade needs a lot of layering to get a true opaque colour as just one application leaves a subtle wash on the lid.
The bonus of the 'Leather Effect' shadows having a matte finish mean that they can be worn alone or as a base for powder eyeshadows. They work amazingly well as a smooth base, setting without creasing and making your eye make up last longer than normal.
After some investigating, it seems that the 'Leather Effect' range is now permanent here in the U.K & possibly in the U.S too!
So there is my little round up of this product, what are your thoughts?
