Hello guys,
a moment to mention my absolute favourite blush in the world, the Rosy Glow by Dior. My first ever Dior product.
This universal shade adapts to skin pH to give a healthy looking, sheer blush to the cheeks. I love the packaging, I love the brush, I love the print, the smell, the color and the application.
The packaging is strong and in a stream lined silver. It has the word Dior engraved in it so it can't get scratched off. It's a large container with matching mirror so it's great for checking your makeup and reapplying the blush. The rectangular container is also easy to hold and has a nice weight to it.
The brush has the word Dior printed on it, which fades a little overtime. It's super soft and picks up the right amount of blush to build it up to taste.
The pink shade looks quite strong but can be built up like I said. It has the words Dior imprinted in it, again. Dior everywhere. I don't mind the bright pink, I think all women look great with that shade! Perhaps not a good shade for women with bright red hair, they should perhaps stick to a more coral blush, which also happens to be available.
The blush smells of roses. They probably did that to match it with the trend of rosy products that make lips and cheeks look like they are glowing naturally. I absolutely adore it, because I'm a huge rose fan.
The soft applicator picks up little, but don't be fooled! In natural daylight, this blush instantly lights up your cheeks! So be care to check before stepping out the door!
Anyway this is a 10/10 and a very wise investment, because this blush is still around 45 euros. I already have two because I'm always afraid of losing something. But when I run out, I will also still have a beautiful useful container with the word Dior printed in it and with a mirror. I can then start using it outdoors as a compact mirror. As long as there is powder in there, I'm only using it indoors out of fear that it will break. I can't wait to show off with my Dior compact mirror, but this blush is going to last me for years!
In the meanwhile, I'm using the Isadora blush in Pink Blossom, which is almost half the price and almost the same shade:
