If you're a long-time reader (thank you!) you know every now and then I get ideas in my head about lil' posts sequels. Today this is one of them - the power of 5.
5 products that are new or I've been using for a while to showcase and give you my thoughts. It's like a little tornado of mini-reviews to introduce you to things you might not have tried before or just to share my thoughts on the formula etc. Today its lip products, tomorrow it could be skincare, health and wellbeing stuff, book reviews, etc. They could be a jumble of things and its really a refresher post to share, update and elevate.
Very smooth, moisturising and smells like a light minty vanilla. If I was guessing I'd think this contained lanolin because of the texture but the ingredients look vegan-friendly *surprised*. I really like it and I've considered buying the full size, especially since it can be used as part of the Back 2 Mac program, which I've been trying to utilise for a little (sarcasm) while now. The texture is thin and it really does prep the lips well. I was lucky enough to be offered a sample of the lip conditioner to try hence, the cool little sample pot (thank you).

This looks like the Colourpops' (CP) plumping lip gloss packaging but the formula is different. This is much thinner in texture, has a cooling feel but not as minty scent. I do like it but, it's tiny and I actually prefer CP's thicker formula and mintier scent.
A semi-matte lipstick that has a cooling minty feel (meant to plump). I do like it and I think its an interesting addition to the NYX Lingerie line although I would've liked some more shades that weren't so nude orientated (a real red please). Exotic is described as a warm mahogany red but, I'm seeing a pinkish-red. I could wear it without a brown lipliner but adding one definitely creates more depth and a harmonious finish.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse in Sub-Saharan
If Autumn makes you think of pumpkin lip colours this colour is it, plus it smells like sweet caramel candy! The formula is smooth, moisturising and it's long-lasting. It doesn't dry out my lips and it feels very comfortable on. I've restrained myself from purchasing Revlon liquid lipsticks for the longest time because I heard pretty meh things but, I think the bleh rumours are unwarranted as the formula is really good. Perhaps the rumours were about the older formula which I haven't tried though ...

I love this lip gloss formula and the shimmers in this product are mesmerising under the right lights. I've tried a few Kiko lip glosses in my time and their main formulas often look and wear well on the lips and this one is no different. It smells like creamy vanilla and marzipan, the gloss is not too thin or too thick and lasts well. Whenever I step into Kiko I'm always 2 steps away from buying a bunch of these especially when they're on offer but, I restrain myself. Currently, I only have this one but when they're on offer again, I may partake and parlay in perhaps just one or two more.

So there you have it, my first the power of 5 post. Don't worry they all won't be littered with lip pics and I'll make sure to do at least one every month to keep yah updated.
